Taking my wife to the doctor in Bozeman today, and have some lunch at one of our favorite places. A Boker Beauty on my hip, Damasteel and Massarandba wood, and a Steve Dunn in my pocket, ivory and carbon mosaic damascus.

Thanks Gev, Steve told me "that it is a special piece and I got a real good deal" when I picked it up from him. It is a very enjoyable carry.

This Queen Swell Center Whittler was with me today...

... but the nails weren´t in my pocket ;)

Today it was my Carl Schlieper / German Eye - Single Blade Trapper

I like the dark red red bone very much! Oh yes... and it's sharp like hell!

Thanks Jack :)

Old Boy - that Carl Schlieper is a beauty, for sure. The bone scales are perfectly jigged :) And the used steel by Schlieper is great stuff in general.

Thanks Andi, you are right, i love all my German Eyes... they are very "individual" .

Although i must say:
During the last time, while reading this forums up and down, i'm more and more fallen in love with the "new old" GECs ... wonderful little beauties. Nothing (new) like them on the market!

By the way, here is a photo of the "man behind the German-Eye knives", Mr. Achim Gronauer, in his room with more than 8.000 patterns/variants of the "last years"! The room is like HEAVEN for a knife-nut, like me
