I'm digging the edge on the DB barlow. Did the covers lighten up after some obviously use, or were they more orange-ish to begin with? Mine is quite a bit darker. Just curious.

All set for Stockman Sunday with this common Case 47 pattern ... 3 7/8 closed
Case makes several Stockman patterns but I prefer this one because each blade is on a separate spring
While there are many fine Stockmans on two springs (some of which I own), I prefer three springs

I've seen the 47 pattern called a medium Stockman and I've seen it called a large Stockman
But the Case medium Stockman 32 pattern is 3 5/8 closed (18 is 3 1/2, maybe 3 5/8?) and the Case large 75 Stockman pattern is 4 1/4 closed
So I guess this 47 is a medium and a half or a small large ... or tiny jumbo

I was given this one in the early 80s iirc. It had much use back then and sat discarded in many a box of "stuff" over the years. I'm surprised I still have it. Brought it back into service last year.
