Thanks. I'm not a huge fan of micarta, but love clip points. It's my first 77.Awesome score! I'm kicking myself for passing one up last week. Have a great day!
Nice sentiment and choice for the holiday!I changed my mind for Mothers' Day. Mom gave me both of these. (Imperial and Camillus).

Thanks for the foot info, Tom; hope it's feeling better by now. Thanks GT, it is the singular foot. When this happens it takes a week to 10 days before I can really start moving around again ok. It is part of an old high school wrestling injury. I happened to win that tournament, when it flares up I think back on it and say to myself “totally worth it”
I think that scrimshaw canoe is my favorite in your collection
These two for Sunday:

Congrats, Grad!!Recently finished school. The knife and necklace were graduation gifts. The knife from a buddy who knows me well, and the necklace is from my girlfriend who knows me best. They are some beautiful reminders of the years past.
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. ~ Proverbs 18:24
Thanks, Gary! When that popped up on the Exchange years ago I nabbed it. I'm glad I did.
Bonny bone on that pair, Bob!
Thanks, Bob.Wonderful tote to carry as a memory Gary.![]()
The first time I ever handled a sowbelly stockman, I was surprised how good it felt in my hand (and pocket), even though it had thin bone covers. I see what you mean by "swell"; your Winchester's stag adds another "dimension" of hand comfort!
Stone-cold gorgeous grain on your Albers, Bob!
I'm sure Elijah would say you've got a real affinity for big Catts, Rob!I toted my Cattaraugus "Hunters Pride" folder yesterday and will again today. I love the sound of the solid snap of the lock, as it engages when I swing the blade open.
A patent date of July 3, 1906 is easy to see on the brass liner lock. At nearly 4.5 inches closed, it fits snugly in my horizontal belt sheath. With the patent date and the presence of all hammered pins, I suspect it was made between 1905 up to the late 1920's.

That blued blade looks fantastic with your tomato acrylic, Paul! Thanks Patrick, I actually flitzed the little patina I had on it off and tried a gun blue method...I like the results and will leave a grayish base I can build off of. I had blued the cylinder of my 1960's 38 special and liked the results and had the 48 in pocket at the time so figured I'd give it a go![]()
Marvelous Moki, Dan!Another foggy day here in the City by the Bay! A little late posting as I had to go in for blood and UA tests. Of course the lab was short of staff and it took twice as long as normal. keeping me company the usual lamb and Moki. Have a great day folks!

Opulent olive wood Opinel, Will! One of my favourite Opinels, right size for most things, think GEC 15 if you're sceptical about 'small' knives
Here's one of my own No.6s a nice stripey Olivewood.

This is the same knife I was carrying the day she was born, and I’m sure some of you will remember that I post a new picture of her with the knife every year on her birthday (a tradition I started with Eleanor, our oldest, and her Nifebrite #71). And, of course, I always have to re-post all the previous years pics as well.
