What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

concluded 85 mph straight line winds
Glad you and yours are unscathed. 😇👍

While 85 mph winds are far under tornado wind speeds (which can be 2x or more faster than a class 5 Hurricane's 🤯😳), is still Class One Hurricane speed, and should not to be taken lightly.
("tropical storm-force" (AKA: "A Slight Breeze" in Kansas 🙄) is 39 to 73 mph.)

Great selection for today's carry, by the way. 👍

The slime mold on the woodchip pile approves of Schrade Ywllow Delrin.
After one day, it turns brown. Either way, it looks like a splat of vomit.
Slime is the perfect decriptor ~ I got it on my knives, so now it’s on my jeans where I wiped the knives.
Still, it’s much better than the molds that put up clouds of spores when I dig into the pile. I have to mind the wind direction, and sometimes wear a respirator, because some of them can make you real sick.

According to the National Weather Service's Fujita Scale, 85 mph is right in the middle of the range for F1 Moderate Tornado.

I won't argue with that.

i was thinking the potential 350+ mph winds of an f5 tornado.
Had one of those pass through the Wichita, KS area in the early 90's when I resided in Wichita. (can't say I "lived" there. ... 🤨 )

MUCH worse than F5 hurricane winds.

Ah. Your Rotation Algorithm dishes up one of my favorites. Of yours, I mean. The 93, I mean.

Nothing like a largish two bladed Jack.
Good Morning Porch Dwellers
I know my carries get a little redundant... I'm a creature of habit I guess.
We’ll have to just agree that it’s perfectly normal to do that. At least I hope it’s normal, because lately I’m thinking it’s abnormal to change knives every day.
Just like yours
Or as we like to say here in MO, "Just like yers" :D
Or the plural version ~ yourn.

Or “Hey Mike! Cletus has one just like ourn.”

Spring Street Barlow and my Kabar MKII for Wednesday. 😊

We ended up getting two severe storms around noon on Sunday and 45 minutes after midnight on Monday morning. The wind after midnight put one of my redbud trees on the ground, so Memorial Day for me ended up being storm cleanup ......... chainsaw, loppers, and pruning shears being the cutting tools of choice. I've got a little more to do today to finish the cleanup.

A sleeping lady was killed a few miles from Pleasant Hill, when a tree came crashing through her bedroom. I've seen 18" diameter trees snapped off at about 6-8 feet from the ground. NWS survey yesterday for my county concluded 85 mph straight line winds from the second storm. :(

Anyway .......... it's calm and sunny this morning, after a rough ride Sunday. 😊

Highly desirable carries today Mr.P. So glad you and your furry friend made it through unscathed.🙏

Jeff City/Columbia/Lake of the Ozarks

Missouri is so culturally diverse that we have multiple mangalations for most common expressions. Shoot, we can't even pronounce the name of the state with any consistency 😜
True.
Not even in the same city/town.
Folk in Stockton alone had five or six pronunciatons (that I know of/herd) for the state name when I lived there. 😳
