What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Seems like there are a lot of lambsfoot knives (lambsfeet??) being posted nowadays. I guess @Jack Black has made quite an impact in the community with his thread!

Jelly here is still one of my favorites, and a superb cutter. Although as seen by my background my daily cutting needs are minimal… 😁.

If some of you still remember this "mushroom" knife.
At the time it arrived, I found the blade is dirty and with scratches, dissatisfied a lot to the purchasing journey and the funny explanations by the manufacture, it's a EUR100+ mushroom knife.
Some of you said:"it's a garden knife", "it'll have it's own patina one day, the beautiful patina is the unique mark", thanks for trying to make me feel better.

Now the day comes😂
I took it in a hiking with heavily raining, put it in the hip belt pocket, when I back home, took it out, the patina left there...(I find this knife has bronze liner) then....I used scouring pad (the scrubbing side) tried to remove it as at the first time I didn't realize it's patina...
OK, it's unique now, I won't take care of whether the blade is clean or not anymore, even the "mushroom" pattern is hard to see.🤣

Good Morning Porch Dwellers
Posted for my buddy GT 5K Qs 5K Qs ... The Original is still the best. ;)
Thanks, John.🤓
Your post is an amazing coincidence!
This morning, like most mornings, I had ESPN Sports Center on the TV in the living room while I prepared breakfast in the kitchen. I happened to hear a brief mention of a minor league baseball team known as the Space Cowboys, and one of the ESPN anchors said to the other, "Some people call you the Space Cowboy, others call you the Gangster of Love". I thought this was an appropriate and hilarious reference to the Steve Miller Band's hit "The Joker" from back in the 1970s. But it also reminded me of an earlier Steve Miller Band hit titled "Space Cowboy" which I often heard on the 8-track tape system in a college buddy's 1963 Chevy Impala when we were freshmen in 1969-70. So I googled the song title to listen to "Space Cowboy" again. One of the links that came up was this one:
I watched it, enjoyed it, and while watching it decided I had to send the link to you, given your affection for Star Trek TOS and your cowboy background. Not long after watching the YouTube video, I saw your post quoted above, and said, "Coincidence ... or Grand Design??!?? I definitely have to send this to John!" Enjoy. 🤓

Sure enough, Will -- that is the same pattern. Fantastic! Really interesting to see another one of these -- love the Zebrawood on yours. Queen was making the MSA slipjoints for Dave Shirley in the early 2000's, and that collaboration continued as Dave shifted over to his Northwoods brand. It leads me to wonder whether the oval shield on mine was a remnant of the MSA days and the Marble's shield? I love the ergonomics of this little guy -- the groove for the index finger makes it handle very nicely. As you say, certainly an interesting knife. :) 👍
Thanks for the background Jim  Wish Zebrawood were used more, Queen did a run of knives in it including the small lockback, has D2 blade. Small but credible and not toy-like. Enjoy yourself a fine week!

Thanks, Will

Oh my... That was brilliant... Loved it!!!

Last Friday a woman in her70s mistook her accelerator pedal for her brake pedal and smashed into the wall of our post office. As a result, we had no mail delivery until yesterday and as a result, some bills were late in arriving so, I wrote out some checks late last evening and am going to town to mail them today. No breakfast. Saving room for lunch at the stock/auction yard cafe. I'll carry this knife.
