Beautiful knives, Kurt! Our Dahlias have just started to come up out of the ground. Here in Central, NY we have to dig up the bulbs every fall and store them inside over the winter, then replant them in the spring. It's a nuisance but the blooms are worth it!Beautiful weather here in Santa Cruz. I saw quite a few otterson my walk yesterday. I watched a video of a great white shark that was pretty close to shore. Lots of young great whites hang out by the remnants of the old cement boat in Aptos. Today I’m mainly just hanging out at home. Some of my dahlias are starting to get flowers. I’ll do some reading. I just finished a new biography about Skip Spence. I love Moby Grape. And I’m almost finished with Tripped: Nazi Germany, the CIA and the Dawn of the Psychedelic Age. And I’ll carry one of these two today.

Thanks Gary. It’s warm enough here I can leave them in the ground. I usually dig them up and give them to my friend. This year I planted more zinnias. I am an extremely lazy gardener and take pride in doing as little as possible but just enough to look ok. Martha Stewart would be appalled.Beautiful knives, Kurt!
