What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Gary. It’s warm enough here I can leave them in the ground. I usually dig them up and give them to my friend. This year I planted more zinnias. I am an extremely lazy gardener and take pride in doing as little as possible but just enough to look ok. Martha Stewart would be appalled.

Zinnias are some the best. Good looking Birdvis, too - I like how distinctive his style is. I've never met him, but I think he lives in my neighborhood.

I like it,I wanted Gabon Ebony but this was all that was left,I expect its the cheapest (though thats relative in GEC terms). 😁

The pull is perfect any more and I couldnt/wouldnt use it.

The covers are very grippy even when wet,I would have prefered to not have the fake material look, but hey who cares (me 😇).

I might try and darken them with a brown sharpie or something.

Its about 10 grames heavier than my 74 clip point and a touch thicker,it looks and feels good.

As soon as it came out the tube I thought this will look much better when its been used and got a few battle scars.

Straight in the pocket and used without worrying about future values, use em and anjoy using em is how I feel.

Today I rode to Swindon (not a tourist destination, but I know some scenic roads) to buy the last Nirvana tee shirt in XL size from Asda.

Also had a look around a few bike shops, when I got home I used my "High Plains Drifter" to make a sarney. 😍

Question isnt this a Sodbuster in all but name?

These TEW today 🙂

Ok, the bike is back together. Not entirely to my satisfaction, but its road worthy and the biannual safety inspection is scheduled for tomorrow. What should have been an afternoon job turned into a multi day event. I sure don't handle the heat as well as I did even 10 years ago. I was in the shade and there was a nice breeze and I stopped and drank a glass of water periodically and still managed to dehydrate myself. A cool shower (had to take that before I could sit on the furniture), an apple and four glasses of water and I'm feeling as normal as I ever do 🤪

Anyway, had the Antonini in my pocket 😎

I call that “Lads gardening” hence why I have daffodils and snowdrops they look after themselves…😁

Gardening can be pretty forgiving, luckily for me. Because I can be quite lazy myself.
