What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Pics of the bike please. 😁
Not a current pic, but the bike looks just like this except it now has shiny new stainless headers and Y-pipe.

The same bike in 1992 at the end of the Alaskan Highway in Delta Junction, Alaska, mile post 1422:

The exhaust consists of the headers, a collector box (front muffler), and the rear muffler. The collector box rotted out, as they are prone to do. Its no longer available, hence the Y-pipe. The janitor must have knocked their jig out of alignment, because there was no way it would fit. Much grunting, cussing, cogitating and a trip to a muffler shop, I manged to "make it fit" 🤬 The source of the angst:

And to attempt to stay on thread topic, and it is Trapper Tuesday, I've been sitting here coon fingering this Hughes Cutlery trapper thinking that I need to oil the joints. This was made by Chuck Garlits for Hughes Hardware in Highland, Indiana, back in 1987. Its a Happy Jack knife.
Look at the jigging. That's how jigging should be done 👍 😍
A gift from 321Bandaid 321Bandaid . Thanks Chris! 😊

Just a mere fleshwound.
My berries are kicking in.
Blackberries?

I think Bob’s hat speaks to my knees and hip as much as my knives.

Cool bike🤙
Blackberries?
Black Raspberries. Hoping for three or four gallons in the freezer before they’re done. I think we ran out of last year’s in March, and that was two and a 1/2 gallons.

I have a huge patch of Blackberries, still a long way to go. If they go at all. Last year, they bloomed, formed hard little white berry starts, and stopped. It was really dry, and I draw the line at how far I want to haul a hose.

Yes, "Oil the joints" has taken on additional significance 😏
Thanks :)
I'm not sure I can tell the difference between black raspberries and blackberries. It is a little early for blackberries as mine usually come in around the 4th of July and yeah, last year wasn't good for them. Its been much wetter this year 🤞

You're very welcome, my friend! 🤝🏻

Back from the dentist. They’ve come a long way in pain management, but it’ll be soft-ish foods for a day or two.

The two equal-end knives - a 6279 (Senator?) and a 62055 (Little Cigar?) - check all the boxes for me. The bone on the 6279 is amongst the best in my collection.

BUT, this beauty really appeals to me. There are stories in that main blade that I would love to hear! Was there damage that was ground out or was it hard use that led to this profile? The snap is as strong as ever. I like this one …

I'm guessing its been used and sharpened a lot. This was my Dad's 1971. He used it on his job as a millwright and then gave it to me and I used it for several years when I only had 2 or 3 pocket knives. Its been used a lot. The blades are still tight and the springs snap.

The resemblance is uncanny!!🤪 I love that Barlow. These are tools made to be used and that one earned its scars!

Don’t start! Naming berries is like arguing over half stops vs no half stops.

But I’ll tell you what…I went to town and got a carton of ice cream to go with some berries.
