Thanks, Steve. :)

I dyed this one yesterday. It was a pale yellow.

Noteworthy dye jobs on both the Winchester canoe and the Ashley's Choice stag lambsfoot! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I thought your AC lambsfoot was already one of the most recognizable with that "grand canyon" the length of the stag on one side and the numerous "battle scars" on the other side. Now, with the darker color on the lighter part of the stag, it really stands out from the crowd!

5K Qs 5K Qs ~ Thank you!
Regarding her 1st guitar lesson, it was all about the mechanics. How to hold it, fret it, pick it, keep your body and arms relaxed…
But once she kinda got that, I got her going on a 3 string, 2 chord blues riff. Get to the fun stuff right away to get her hooked was my theory, not Down In The Valley chord strumming that is in my 1967 edition of Mel Bay’s Beginning Guitar book that’s going home with her.
Sounds good to me, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I don't have much experience with fixed blades or with small folding knives, but that pair is very handsome! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Stuck in front of a computer for 3 days this week for a couple of project reviews. At least the heat dome has broken and it’s comfortable in our mostly un-air-conditioned lake house. I’ve got the Case 31 and Camillus 33 EO Jack nearby. Just love these patterns.

Couple of vibrant vintage knives; I especially like that spear/pen EO with bail! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Blue with a bit of sweat and mango patina, just got the sweet camel bone, going in the pocket right now😎View attachment 2599601
This blue micarta is wonderful looking in the sun. The etch might be my least favorite GEC etch I've seen, but if I carry it enough it won't be there long.

Those Horse Rancher clip/spey 39s remind me of the old #15 Farmboys. :thumbsup::cool::cool:
Anyone happen to have a comparison shot of those two models?

Boker barlow today.

Got to deal with this on another ranch in the afternoon. I had a handful of cows there, fortunately they got out of the way and were okay.

Big-league BΓΆker Barlow, Bart! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Do those wildfires ever burn hot enough to damage the power lines running above them?

You sure have a lot of appealing vintage knives, David! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Morning Porch Dwellers
Prestigious pair of pocketknives on a post, John! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Joseph Rodgers Lamb and a Schrade Cutco Jack

Outstanding jigging on both of those oldies, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Some Feather Damascus from Shayne Carter...

Jim, you sure have a lot of knives that are also genuine works of art! 😲:thumbsup::cool:

Two new ones in the pocket. A gifted Bunny knife from my buddy @Angry Waiter which I had some mod work done on and an awesome horn Rodgers lamb from Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . Lucky to have such great friends.

Congrats on your distinctive new knives, Paul, and kudos to your benefactors for their thoughtful generosity! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Yesterday, I got some unsolicited post through the letter-box....but of a very welcome nature :cool: I was staggered to open the packet from the USA and find an amusing card and a wonderful Redbone CASE 087 pattern Stockman 1965-69:eek: For me? Indeed....it's a wonderful surprise and a fine addition..getting these things is not easy in Europe either!

The man responsible for this kind gift is ephsea ephsea . I'm very grateful indeed, nothing like CASE for Redbone 😻

Wonderful surprise for you, Will; thanks for sharing it here, and accolades to ephsea ephsea for sending that iconic stockman your way! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

That's a stunner, Rob! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Are the photos intended to be a "subliminal sales pitch" where bidding on that wonderful knife starts at 10Β’??
I'll see your dime and raise you a quarter, just to kick things off! πŸ€“

Splendid stag toothpick, Alan! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

A very beautiful Copperlock. 🀠 :thumbsup:
Thanks, John. :)
(Of course, I tend to think of it as a locking clip half-canoe. 😁)

I'm going with my new "squeeze" today, the RoseCraft barlow. I'm blown away by the quality of this knife for under 60 bucks.

I enjoy seeing how impressed you are with your new Barlow, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Going to town again. Cindy has an appointment for a haircut and then it'll be lunch at ??????? - haven't made up our minds yet. One of the knives I'll be carrying is this Puma 835 Junior.

That's a handsome, shapely Puma, ED! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
Is the secondary blade a pen blade?

Who knows what evil lurks....the Shadow knows...😁
Lovely lamb, Bob, with a perplexing patina! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
I'm not old enough to have listened to the original The Shadow radio broadcasts, but when I was in grad school 50 years ago, a local radio station rebroadcast classic radio programs such as The Shadow, The Lone Ranger, Fibber McGee and Molly, and I think at least 2 more that I can't recall today. I liked that Shadow "tagline". πŸ€“

Very nice Gary, but it's summertime, school is out.🀩
Yeah, and I think school is out for me forever, but I still feel an obligation to "go forth and multiply", so it's good to have that knife with the times tables available. ;)😁

Habits die hard Gary. We never lose the urge to share knowledge.

The patina came from mustard going on a foot long dog.πŸ˜ƒ

Whatever you are doing this Sunday people have fun.

I am English so will have to endure another agonising poor England football team performance today (Scotland you are not alone with the pain).🀣

Why is the Forum "Barlow" Bunny knife just so good? 😁

I cleaned the patina of the main blade so I can start again,I love this knife.:cool:

My "real Barlows" came out in the Sun for a photoshoot as well,the grass in my garden makes a good backdrop for pics.

These are the First 2 English Barlows I ever bought and my favourites/keepers.

Everyone loves the CJ but I like the IXL as well.😍

Congrats on the win John. πŸŽ‰
