Wow that got to you quick, I walked to the post office at 4:30pm on Tuesday to send it, the horses must have been well rested.

Great looking knife, Daniel. What is the county of origin?

As Old Boy says, it's from Germany, although it's Kneissler rather than Kreissler. It originally had synthetic scales, which I had replaced with some lignum I had lying around. There's some wonderful modded pieces floating about, including some very classy ones by Russell White, and one in orange G10.

Makes me think of those old Electrician knives, but without the cutout and overall just a lot nicer :D. Nice catch!
Thanks :)

That auroch has quite some character!

Today it's this Jerry Halfrich Small Shadow Rounder. I think George Washington Sears (Nessmuk) would have approved.

Gracious, Gary. I don't remember seeing that one before. How exquisite.

I'm with you on the two knives Mr Finn!

Kabar Peanut from Pete, Boy's Knife from Dan :)

Love that Kabar, Jack! What model number is it? I can't read it.

I'm sporting a Kabar as well. I received this little bugger yesterday, which I won at auction. It's TINY! Especially for a stockman pattern...

Toothpick for for size comparison:). The main blade seems to be well sharpened so the tip somewhat sticks out of the liners. I tried grinding a bit of the heel away, but that didn't really help. I don't want to drop the tip since that would ruin the nice clip point. Doesn't bother me that much...

Other blades. I think I'll be using that small sheepsfoot the most.
