What lake are you fishing on? FUN.

When we lived on Lake of the Ozarks in the ‘80s, the Dept of Conservation had been stocking stripers in the lake for a few years, but that was not public knowledge. But people figured it out when fishermen started coming into town with splintered fishing rods and wild eyed stories of SOMETHING HUGE OUT THERE.

Up the Big Niangua arm, there’s a large spring ~ HaHaTonka Spring. Now a State Park. Where the spring lake/sinkhole, 80 feet deep, ( it was actually the roof of a giant underground cave that collapsed ~”A Karst Topography Showcase”~ creating a 48 million gal/day spring out of an underground river) into the main lake is a striper haven. Pretty soon, Jack’s started carrying saltwater rigs, and hanging mounts that looked as big as your leg on the wall.

Oregon Trapper, and Kaufmann & Sons garden knife. Trying to grow watercress on the deck. Been intrigued by that plant since I was a kid. Grandpa and his brothers used to pick that along with miner’s lettuce, and other wild greens for their Mom.
He showed me an old homestead site up on the hill above his lake house where the only thing remaining was a tiny walled in spring that had been their water source. It’s full of watercress.

The usual for a lame work Thursday.
I wonder why THE THEM (or THE THEY as b gramatically "correct") never show Sassy Ms. Sasquatch ... 🤓
Fear of war cuz the "humans" would attempt to capture and wed all of them? 🤔

(no question IMHO, the "humans" would lose the war.
Sasquatch are much better at stalking their prey. Also, since 1500 pound+ adult Kodiak bear run from them when the wind shifts, (reported by a crew of 9 including the Captain, aboard a fishing vessel in one of the Alaskan bays that were watching a large lone adult Kodiak bear, a few years ago) there is a chance bullets/arrows will have little to no effect on them. 🙄)

No pun intended, eh? :D
Different manufacturer, different design. Hopefully this one won't break under my fat self 🤞

Nah ... no pun intended.😇👍 (D'yew "think" i r that clever???🤯🤯😳)

Origin 8?
I have a few of their components on my low SN 1989 KHS Montana Summit, and 2017 Miami Sun (adult) trike.
After several years, no issues with those components.
I don't recall if the (used) suspension seat posts I put on both, is one of theirs or not.

Going to switch to my Imperial Frontier 4435 Double Eagle stockman.

I "think" the bolsters will look "better" with a bit of patina, witch ain't going to happen unless I carry it. 🤔🙄
