What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Grabbed this underrated 38 for Three Blade Thursday.

I took a marked-up sample ballot with me for the first time. Not because I'm getting old*, but because there were so many running in this primary 😇
I can't say I liked any of them

*just realized that I turn 64 today 🥳

Are you getting old when you forget your birthday? 🤔
Happy birthday mate

If you drink tons of water, you’re not so affected by mountain altitude sickness. From one flatlander to another…

Yes, you have seen one or both of my old milk cans. I think they are “regular size”.
Grandma filled the bottom 2/3 with rocks, then soil, and planted Hens ‘n Chicks in them.

Not a leather working expert, but I think oil tanned leather is suitable for knives, and chrome tanned leather does what happened to your knife. Getting wet kind of activated a chem reaction. It’s corrosion, so will always be there unless you get aggressive with abrasives. I’d just clean it like other guys suggested, oil it, and toss the sheath.

Having a birthday is an integral part of getting older. When one stops, the other stops.🤓
Have a happy one.

Happy Birthday !

And a Happy Birthday to you 🎂🍻

Happy Birthday, Mike! 🥳 🎂

Not that I recall. 😁

Thanks for the Birthday wishes everybody :) I grilled some brats and had one with a nice cold beer 🌭 🍺 I hadn't grilled brats in ages. Had I been thinking, I would have taken a nifty photo of them sizzling away on the grill, but I didn't so here's a photo after I've already scarfed one down

You sure do have a sparkling collection, but the ones with a punch/awl are my favorites, has the blade on the pocket ease been reconfigured

Thank you ........ no it was a specialty knife made for a "Craftsman" and that blade was called a Carpenters's blade.
Robeson used that same blade on another specialty knife that was stamped "Mechanic" on the main. 😊
