What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

another "Copperhead" in my pocket today. Case Mini Wharncliffe Copperhead, although exactly how Case categorizes this as a "Copperhead Pattern" escapes me. I've always understood the copperhead to be a jack with two springs and both blades at the same end. Howsoever, it is a very well executed single spring design which makes an excellent three-finger knife. Fit and finish is top-notch.

Whittler Wednesday/Humpday with this humpy whittle guy. I never thought I'd like a knife as funny looking as a 29. And I'm still blown away by how much I love the Coffeehouse acrylic, never thought I'd say that about a plastic handle either, but GEC has a way of doing this to a person. It's almost as if Bill wants to make us all say "Uncle!"?
Thanks again for re-homing this one to me Conrad 🙏. The next owner of this knife will pry it from my dead hand (hopefully before I get cold, it's a really nice knife, I wouldn't hesitate myself).
Make the best Wednesdays you can, and may your pocketknife help!

Headed south to check on the home front before returning to enjoy the changing of the seasons in Upstate NY. Decided to make it a ‘canoe trip’ with a 1985 Case and an AG Russell in stag. Sorry for the bad rest-stop photo.

Happy WW. My first wagyu beef ever. Just cleaned up my 83 then dropped it on the concrete porch. Ugh as it bounced. Dented the coco on the barehead end but a little sandpaper and right back in the pocket.

After a couple hours in the smoker / stick burner the fat changes color as it absorbs the smoke. This was done on hickory. Pictured with baked potatoes and mushrooms. Shrooms absorb smoke flavor readily, yum!

A meal fit for a king. Your 83 seems to be functioning just fine.👌
