Thanks Jeff, I appreciate the compliment
HFinn, A third "Leg" is always helpful. What is the knife on your backpack? Thanks, JohnIn the forest during weekend. I have reached the age when I prefer to have some kind of walking stick when I'm trekking.

The GL-24 has become my EDC + 1 knife - it's always in my watch pocket, then I usually throw something else in my main pocket. Somehow, the TL-29 seems like the right knife for Labor Day.
So we started out getting donuts and taking the dogs for a walk.

The we hit a local comics shop to get some comics, and then a local hobby shop to get some models. So far we've been reading comics - and I took a nap, and Dawn squirted one of the dogs with hose (the other dogs hates that) - but we may give building the models a go here in a bit.
I chose the Se S.E.5 because that was Albert Ball's plane when he died, and I've been a fan of his since I read a book about him as a kid. Dawn chose the Sopwith Camel because it looks cool, and will look good next to the S.E.5.

I hope all of the members of The Porch are having an excellent Labor Day! Unless you're somewhere that doesn't celebrate, in which case: get back to work! (Just kidding - I hope you're having a lovely Monday afternoon. Or Tuesday morning. Or whatever it is wherever you are when you see this, I hope it's going well!)
