Thank you Barrett. Eric called that wood Spalted White Oak Burl. 😊
It's nice to hear about the girl's first day back to school ............... when the cats away, the mice can play. ;) 🤣
That vintage Micarta has changed my mind about the look of that material. Love it .... especially the ones with the black or soiled look to them.😍

Thanks! It can be hard to keep up with all the beautiful woods Eric has used on his knives!

Yeah, I think that old Polish Micarta has changed the minds of at least a couple folks who weren’t big on Micarta before. 😁 I like the dark spots, too, and wish that we had ended up with more knives that had them, but they just turned up randomly as Eric was cutting the material. That said, there were at least a few folks who preferred the knives without dark spots, so I’m glad we had some variety.

Incredible 😲 The museum has reopened.😍

Thank you Mr. R.🤣🐸

Now why can’t anyone offer jigged bone like that these days?

I reckon it must be harder to accomplish than we might think ............. I wish they would though.😊
It might take more time and cost more to do it. Cattaraugus did establish quite a reputation for their jigged bone.
Trade secret ???

I thought I read somewhere that style jigging is referred to as Maine Coon Clawed Bone.🤔 🤣
