Today’s brief carry is a stag Schatt & Morgan Gunboat Canoe that was produced as part of the 1995 Keystone Series. Edit: Learned from Arathol that this pattern is actually a canoe whittler or canittler!

Awesome pair Patrick! How's that new Titusville farmer?
Overall it's pretty good! I've wanted a Farmer's Jack for a while and this one will make a great user. 👍

Pros - Main blade snaps open really well with good smooth action, not a half stop but more of an oval cam that "pauses" at halfway open if that makes sense. It's a single spring, and flush in open and closed positions. There are no gaps at the liners or bolsters and transitions on bolsters are smooth. Blades are sharp as the dickens too.

Cons - The pull on the spey blade is kind of weak and the main blade pull could be a little stronger but it's much better than the spey. Also there's a little side to side blade play in the main blade when open.

I've said it before & I'll say it again, the porch is full of enablers!!! 😂
🤣🤣 So true!

Never mind the Volkswagen ...
Was dying a couple of Case knives this afternoon with Racing Red RIT, Apple Cider Vinegar and salt.
Will post them later ... but anyway ...
Had this splotchy blue handled full size Copper Lock.
Tossed it in the Racing Red RIT for grins and giggles and because everything was setup.
Dang thing came out Plum-ish ... made it "my own" I guess.
Then took a picture on the trunk lid of my Passat

Sounds like a decent knife to me 👍🏼
