What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice one Bart. I guess I hesitated too long.😁
Thanks Bob. I watched it for quite a while and finally decided I needed it. It might have had something to do with you posting your Sao a couple weeks ago. I think you posted a green bone barlow around the same time.
I really like the ones I purchased recently. Very comfortable design
I’m very happy with mine.
Today's carry is the 2015 Forum knife, I'm not aware of this pattern having a name other than it is bareheaded and has a single spring. Other than that, Canal Street, 440C, and Bocate Wood are the specifics.

Such a cool knife. That one was happening right at the time I found the forum. I didn’t get one and didn’t realize how special it was at the time.

Remove this if this is not traditional. This is a custom made chisel-cutter pocket knife - thing. CRV80 steel, leather pocket sheath made by me. Made a cotton "cord micarta" -handle. Overall 130 mm, blade 55 mm.

This small tool has proved itself. I experimented using this on leather and wood and used it exclusively shaping this sheath. The chisel tip is excellent when carving, push cuts work well. The longer edge and the sharp corner give very precise cuts (all mistakes visible are the result of my own clumsiness). Straight edge was easy to strop to shaving sharpness.
