What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Last night while watching TV, reading something on the laptop, eating a slice of pizza and sipping a beer, I managed to spill the beer across my current table pile  Perhaps it was one too many tasks in the multi 😬
Dried them the best I could and blew them out with air-in-a-can, and let them dry overnight in the dish rack. Re-oiling them this morning. The Vic Cadet is going with me for Friday pool.
Here’s what you do. Clean and oil all but one. Maybe one you never use? Let the one be, beer and garlicy pizza sauce, and report back on patinization. Pick a carbon knife, of course.

So u saying beer ain't a good knife lube?

The way it lubes SOME folk's (air quotes) "mind" ... 🙄

(Just the odor of beer was enough for one of my (now late) paternal aunt's mind to become so slick she couldn't walk. 🤯😳☹️
I can't imagine getting stupit drunk just by sniffing a beer bottle cap or empty bottle ... YES! She did not drink.)

It's the #525 Bunny Knife today. Clam Chowder at the Wagon Wheel Cafe today so it's tempting to go to town again today. Two days in a row at the Wagon
Wheel Cafe would be a hoot. Too late for breakfast - coffee will have to do.

Enjoy that chowder Ed. Now pace yourself. All that excitement will get your heart racing, like the last lap of NASCAR!

Bonus points for deciphering my sons story 🙂

I used to be a pretty good decipherer of students' writing, so I'll give it a try, even though I don't have much experience reading Australian. 🤓

The wildebeest is eating the green grass(?) out of the dirt (quite confident about that first part, but then I "lost the thread")
and the blood bird was too loud! because it ???

OK, that was more challenging than I expected! 😁
