I got a couple loads of cattle back from Oregon today. The last two will come back next week. This is the last summer I will have cattle on the ranch up there, as it sold and the new owner will graze it, so I will no longer lease it. We’ve been grazing up there for 15 years, lots of good times and memories.![]()

Well, after talking with you last week, and how you’d mentioned the 32 in stag, I am NOT surprised to see one has a new home! These 2 are in my pockets . Northfield 32 and 2019 BF Knife

They sure did a nice job in paying tribute to a classic old pocket knife pattern.
Great selections, Rick!

For some reason, I thought I should take a pic of the Schrade Folding Hunter you gave me. And that awesome 96OT Trapper is in my pocket again today![]()

RFP, RHP and watch pocket covered today
Curious. I've never seen a Buck 317 in the flesh.

More info on the Sod Buster please. That wood is beautiful! Two of my favorites. I really like bargain work knives. Especially ones that are built really well. Both of these check all the boxes for my needs and requirements.

Just over 5-1/4" closed. Almost too much for a pocket.Curious. I've never seen a Buck 317 in the flesh.
Is it the closed length 5.125 to 5.25 inch? (full size)
Do you ever pair it with a 301 or 303 Stockman?
Good looking 2 blade folding hunter.
A Western 062 Folding hunter has been on my belt since 08-31-24.
Not sure when (or if) it will come off.

A great and practical pattern, IMHO.

I understand. Even though I’ve rarely gone without, my knives get used a lot more being retired from my sales job. Part and full time farm work, garden, guitar work, etc. Thanks Jeff.
I am glad you are putting those two to use. They would have just sat with me.
Hopefully when and if I retire I will be able to get more use from my knives. Right now use is minimal
I know when I would take time between job assignments, my knives saw a lot more use.I understand. Even though I’ve rarely gone without, my knives get used a lot more being retired from my sales job. Part and full time farm work, garden, guitar work, etc.
Take care of your health now ~ cardio, joints, etc. so you can enjoy your knives in retirement.
