It was a Victorinox day. I had a 1 and a SD Spacewalk. The 1 has been described by a coworker as the least Swiss Army knife he’s ever seen.

The pics are taken in Rauðhólar, a rather large area that basically consists of a cluster of pseudo-craters. They are formed when molten lava flows over wetlands causing the water to boil. The pressure of the steam from the boiling water then causes explosions, which in turn creates these magnificent pseudo-craters. The bright crimson red colour you see, is caused or coloured by the oxidation of the iron in the lava.

Nice knife and amazing photos. Cool to hear the geology behind it too.

I love the pocket-worn look of the stag on your Sao, Bob. Hope you had fun plplinking.

It turned out to be a good day for shooting Bart.
The handle has has just enough texture to aid in the grip. This one takes a very nice edge as a bonus.
