There’s no AC in the City except for the high rises. Thankfully the fog has returned 😀.

When I lived in SF (Persia Ave near Ocean) we didn’t have AC and didn’t need it. Hardly considered it summer because almost every day was overcast, windy, and mid 60s. Once we visited our daughter’s friend in Pacifica on one of those rare days when it was sunny and in the 70s. Her friend was complaining that it was too hot.

I live in the San Joaquin valley now and have gotten used to the heat. Only a few days at 112 this year. And this first week of October has been 100-102 every day. Our thermostat is set at 79, and my wife, who is from the Philippines, says that is already too cold.

Continuing the Moki theme, this cocobolo Glory was a gift from my father almost 30 years ago.

These two recent arrivals, a Rosecraft Obed Creek Bow Trapper (second - the shield etch isn't properly centered - I like it better this way, kinda like he's throwing some side-eye 😂) and a Northfield 12 from 2019 wearing Copperhead Pony Cut Bone pants.

Both are very pinchable (the Rosecraft more so) and the nearly sunken joints aid in coon-fingering and pocket-packing. Two thumbs up! 👍 👍
