What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Johnny, how do I get my silver alox SAKs to look like this? I feel like a rank amateur with my pristine grooves. I'm afraid to talk to people because I'm certain they'll ask to see my knife and figure I just started with them 5 minutes ago.

I remember you tried sharpie marker once - was that the winning recipe?

I'll subscribe to your newsletter if I must, but please reveal your secrets!!

I take one of these and put a few coats on my knife, letting them dry each time.

I make sure to make a right mess all over my hands and everything I touch.

When dry I rub the excess off with a cloth/old tooth brush and run it under the tap.

Then leave to dry and oil.

The next few days I spend trying to get my hands clean and cleaning up the mess. 😁
