My Vermont package came in yesterday, here's what I shipped back to me 
A new Case Sodbuster Jr was my main carry up there when we were visiting. I later picked up the Imperial Kamp-King & the Camillus Grandaddy Barlow at an antique store in Waterbury, VT. The stickers were from one of the several farms we visited while we were there. Just a few fun mementos of our trip up there.

Schrade was put to work for anniversary duties for the Mrs. yesterday. Hard to believe she's put up with me for this long
BTW I'm carrying the Case Sodbuster & the Camillus today.

Now that looks good! I usually just mix up a dumb old fruit smoothie in the Vitamix for breakfast. Not nearly as appetising.

Yessir, drying on the vine.Always members here willing to share information and help others.
Now it is time to leave some on the vine to dry for pots of hand and bean soup with onion and cornbread on the cold Illinois winter days.

Has coin edge NS liners too. I need to get pics of that some time. Preceeds the Hammer Brand logo era ...... likely late 1800's.
I may do that.I take one of these and put a few coats on my knife,letting them dry each time.
I make sure to make a right mess all over my hands and everything I touch.
When dry I rub the excess off with a cloth/old tooth brush and run it under the tap.
Then leave to dry and oil.
The next few days I spend trying to get my hands clean and cleaning up the mess.

Of course, any day the grand daughters come by is a good day.
Two of my three from Georgia have been here this week. The oldest is now a freshman in college, so we missed her.
