What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wooden Wednesday with a new to me GEC Pocket Carver in Cocobolo. This knife took me some time to hunt down and scratches all my itches for a pocket knife. Now, the hunt is on for the Rotten Banana version. Excuse the horrible picture, I’m stuck in a hotel for a couple of nights while at a Board (or is it Bored?) Meeting! 🤣

Haven’t done much today. Felt a little under the weather but maybe just tired. Took my dog for a walk, the usual. This great Dunlap came with also.

Is the "Craftsman" a model name or an "Sold By Sears & Roebuck"?
Oh no electrical problems (and I found some bodges) with my gear change just as I was leaving my house.

3 SAKs today, grabbed 2 before I remembered I leave the black one with scissors and file as my workshop SAK in my shed.

I used the scissors (superior to purpose made scissors I find in many situations) and file with which I cleaned the fuse of fur build up.

Knipex are also the best tools, I used these on the din plugs to unscrew them,Quality tools make jobs easier and less likely to damage things. 😁

I hope I can get it fixed and get a last ride this month before I take my bike of the road for the winter.

ohhh ... (air quotes) "fun" ... Electrical repairs .... 🤨 My condolances. ☹️🥺

I decided to swap out the Case 10375 stockman for my 1978 to 1984 "Schrade+" 858 (no "OT" so it may be an early variation) "Lumberjack" stockman in my pocket.
Keeping the (offshore) Marble's MR417 Folding Hunter on my belt.

It’s shameful it took me so long to appreciate the castrator blade.

Beautiful knife my friend, hope you’re on the mend.
Thank you! It’s going around but I think I’m on the upward swing of things. That secondary blade is one of my favorites. Great for everything from scraping gaskets to opening the mail.

This tool and some things I tinker with. A thumb protector for Asian archery (thumb draw) and a stick I have started to use when trekking (birch, so quite light and therefore not tiring to use when walking). I have used this tool or knife even in an edc role. Sheath is also self-made.
