What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Did my annual lung cancer screening this morning. I don't expect anything untoward, but then all those years of smoking may catch up to me some day. Hence the screening
Stopped at the Scotch store and Glenlivet Founders Reserve was on sale Then went by the hardware store and picked up a bottle of main line cleaner, Have to make sure not to get them mixed up
Howard was my companion. Used him to cut the wrist tag off after the screening.

I'm toting this one today and I'll have you know I almost broke my damn thumb getting the drop point blade open for this pic . Fortunately, the spey opens a little easier. Good old early GEC thumb breaker!

This tool and some things I tinker with. A thumb protector for Asian archery (thumb draw) and a stick I have started to use when trekking (birch, so quite light and therefore not tiring to use when walking). I have used this tool or knife even in an edc role. Sheath is also self-made.

Thank you. I use a brass/steel tarnishing solution and rinse it off with hot water, then cut a one inch strip of ultra fine scotchbrite and heavy oil to rub most of it off. It's a light touch and how you rub it off that is key.
