I copied @Johnnythefox’s patented Sharpie paint job on my Vic Harvester. I like it.
Next time, I think I’ll use some left over tinted guitar lacquer in Surf Green.

Car guys, or should I say old guys, will remember Surf Green from ‘57 GM cars. Fender and Gibson used automotive paint for their solid color guitars in the ‘50s and ‘60s. If it had nice grain, they used sunburst or some other translucent finish, but plain or ugly grain, usually alder or poplar, got a solid color finish.
The only knives I can think of in this color were Girl Scout knives. I think @r8shell and @5K Qs each have one.
Where you been, Rachel?
Why does every page feature a big click bait ad now? I don’t need to try this one weird trick to erase facial wrinkles or see her racy bikini photos.

On the hunt for one like it!I had not toted my bone Farrier Horseman in a long time, so today it got slipped in my watch pocket.
Spent one hour in line to vote. My precinct was the only long line.

Totally understand. Some are like an old shoe. Broken in, still good, feel just right![]()
Grocery store blade around here could be a nice 6-7" bladed fixed setup.Found myself a new "trail knife". Guess I'll start looking for a "grocery store knife" next.

Yesterday was our annual church apple butter boil. We reduced 40 bushels of Stamen apples and 60 pounds of sugar plus cinnamon and clove into 65 gallons of apple butter. It’s not an exact science. We get what the apple gives us, but this was one of our best yields.

Nice recover on the 2024 forum knife![]()
Not even the angle I was heading for. Although a CRK fixed blade in a small of the back sheath would work.I absolutely refuse to go down the fixed blade. Nice try, buddy!
