19 is too many years since I had freshwater lobster (or snapper turtle) for any meal. ...

Not sure when I last posted here but it's been awhile, looks like everyone here is doing well.
I spent 6 days in a comfortable campground roaming 7500 acres of beautiful forest by day and enjoying a cozy campfire each night. The GEC H-10 fixed blade was on the hip each day helping in the outdoor kitchen and keeping me company in the woods.
I've been back home for three days and toting around a stag handled Klaas whittler. It's too comfortable here at home and I already have the itch to head back to the woods. I may go back for a few more days of camp time before the weeks over. Life is good.

That’s pretty neat. How big do otters get?

In North America a big one can go 4 feet nose to tail and 30+ pounds but that's above average usually 2.5-3 .5 long and 15 -30 lbs....

In South America there are giant river otter 6foot + long......Impressive hunters they are all .....All sizes..

Up to 30 pounds for a male and 42 inches long (1/3 of the length is tail). They are much larger than the muskrats.
