Thank you, it is a Farley (Mick Foley), “I live in a Van Gogh down by the river” lolThat's some great looking grain on that Ram. On a side note, is that Chris Farley "In A Van Down By The River!"![]()
Great coupla knives there my friend!
Thanks, Bob.Good to " see" you back Gary.
I would join you singing, but I don't want all the neighborhood dogs howling.
Belated thanks for your input, José.Thanks, Gary.
I really like the checkered covers, it's very good, for me I would like it more if it didn't have that smooth part.![]()
Thanks for the kind words, Lance.Good to hear from you Gary, and glad that you’re still enjoying those knives. I’m sure that our paths will cross again. Lance
Yeah, I do, Jeff. That's why I hired a consultant who eventually came up with a weekly rotation schedule so I could give my knives the attention they deserved. Thanks, Gary!
I should carry the old Peanut more than I do. You know how that is.
Very cool.Thanks mate!
They’re actually quite smitten. The eldest has demanded daily cuddles with him![]()
Words to live by, for sure!Love the motto on the Zombie Nick!
Thanks for the info. They are Hillshire Farms summer sausage from one of the holiday gift sets.
Good looking mod you did! Thanks GT. I think those amber jigged bone RR's are my favorite. That is the RR080 that modded the spay blade into a punch.
Have a great day pal.
Thanks for the reply, Chris.5K Qs Yessir! It is the Case pen knife. It's a great alternative to the Peanut. However, I think NEED a Peanut as well.

Rumbled yes it is. my hair isnt quite so radiant these days but its all there. Here are some comments/replies for quotes that go back 10 days.
Thanks, Bob.
Other people seem to be the main objectors to my singing, but dogs not so much.
(Yesterday, my daughter and son-in-law were running in and out of the house packing their car for their trip back to St. Paul, MN. Their dog was upset that he wasn't getting the attention he thought he deserved, so I sat on the couch with the 40-pound dog on my lap and sang him a couple of Christmas carols. That seemed to calm him down.
Belated thanks for your input, José.
I think I'd agree that uniformly-checkered covers are better (although if I'm using a knife as a "worry stone", the contrasting textures would be interesting to my sense of touch).
Thanks for the kind words, Lance.
And thanks for your compliment today on my Böker Beer Barrel Canoe. I agree with your assessment, but when the knife first arrived, I was worried that the texture of the wood was so rough that it might leave splinters in my hands or pockets. But that hasn't been the case at all.
Yeah, I do, Jeff. That's why I hired a consultant who eventually came up with a weekly rotation schedule so I could give my knives the attention they deserved.
Very cool.
Does Basil realize there's suddenly an extra person to keep track of?
Words to live by, for sure!
Thanks for the info.
I try to keep summer sausage on hand year-round. Recently bought a 20 oz. Johnsonville "original" (rather than "garlic" or some other flavoring/spice) that was sale-priced at the grocery store.
Good looking mod you did! That model is the first sowbelly stockman I ever used, so for sentimental reasons I won't try a similar mod on my current one. But I see that my go-to RR seller still has that amber jigged bone sowbelly available for under $11, so maybe I'll get a spare and experiment.
Thanks for the reply, Chris.
Yeah, you really need a Peanut just to see whether you love it, loathe it, or say, "It's OK." Plus, you could join "The Cult of the Peanut"!Did you ever do any reading in that thread? (I imagine you'll go for a jigged chestnut bone CV 'Nut, right?
)
This is all quite interesting!
I was going to suggest the Ka-Bar dog or Young Elvis, but I was unaware of the existence of Johnny Bravo!
(Is that another alias forJohnnythefox ??

That one sniff probably did it.He hasn’t really paid much attention to Elliot really, sniffed him a couple of times but he can’t throw a ball yet so no use to Basil!
Hope you are on the mend Jim. Good idea to start out light. It was a short week at work but a bit brutal, getting called back in just after midnight Thanksgiving morning. Then I decided to get sick because I had nothing better to do. Today is the first day I even gave a consideration to putting a knife in my pocket. Decided something familiar was needed.

All excellent choicesGT, you know me too well!A chestnut or a vintage red bone would certainly "suit my fancy". Oddly enough, I've grown quite fond of the yellow delrin CV as well.
