What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My sister-in-law who resides just up the road from us passed away Thanksgiving night. Cindy and I are taking her daughter (our niece) to the funeral home to make final arrangements this morning. The sister-in-law has a cremation policy so at least that part of the arrangements is on track. I'll be toting a Black Curly Maple Sowbelly -seems appropriate for going to a funeral home. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

Sorry for your loss and my sincere condolences to you and the family

Warmly glowing 12AX-7 tubes makes me think I should hit the power up on the Pro Reverb.
This one has had a rough life. It was lost outside for several weeks. When it was found it had rust on the blade, in the blade well & backspring. It was also missing the shield. I sanded and polished the metal back to normal. GEC reattached the shield & put the etch back on.

I once found out that Stainless means exactly that. It is not called Stainnever.
It stains and rusts, but just takes a lot longer than carbon. In my case, I found it eight years later.

“Yeah, I do, Jeff. That's why I hired a consultant who eventually came up with a weekly rotation schedule so I could give my knives the attention they deserved.”

I’m shocked that the math professor had to resort to hiring out the solution to a simple arithmetic word problem.
