Very nice.I picked up my first Rough Ryder knife to see how the quality is. I grabbed this Buckshot Bone Barlow for $15 at SMKW. I wasn't expecting much for a $15 knife but I have to say, it's pretty cool! The pull is strong and it snaps into place well. I've seen some reviews online about Rough Ryder so I'm sure the quality varies some but this one is well worth the money.

By "strong snap" do you mean a pull over 6 or 7?
All my Rough Rider/Ryder knives have a SAK like "5" pull on all the blades.
The Buckshot Bone series was originally one of the more popular series in the Colt lineup.
(Prior to 2015 when SMKW held the Colt license, the hierarchy of the SMKW brands was (high to lo) Colt --> Marble's --> Rough Rider --> Novelty Knife Co.)
In 2015 as part of Colt's bankruptcy reorganization plan approved by the court, Colt exited the cutlery market, terminating their longstanding history of licencing the name.
SMKW was not the first to licence the name after Colt quit manufacturing cutlery inhouse. They were just the last to hold the licence.
At any rate, in 2015 when the Colt licence was terminated, the most popular (AKA: "Best Selling") Colt series knives; including the Buckshot Bone were moved to the Rough Rider line, unchanged (other than the tang stamps, and as applicable any blade etchings, and where used the Script "Colt" shield was replaced with a "RR" shield.
The "Buckshot Bone" series and the "Black G10" series may be the only ones still in production.
FWIW I can highly recommend the Black G10 series. (I have the original Colt CT609 ( now RR1571) and RR1569 Large Moose. (I forget the original Colt CT number.)
I consider them "Heavy Duty" knives. The T10 carbon steel blade stock is 3mm/0.12 inch. The Ti Coating looks like a ice, even gray patina.
The pinched and groved brushed Nickel Silver/German Silver bolsters look great.
Both of mine have a smooth "5" pull (Moose has 1/2 stops) and a loud snap.
There is also a Bow Trapper and a standard (full size) trapper available, that I don't have. I prefer a Stockman or Moose over the trapper.
