That 66 is a lovely knife (as indeed is the Pemberton)![]()
Thanks Jack! Andi inspired today's carry. Wouldn't mind have a shot of his Jack Daniels....later of course, as it's not quite noon here

That is one of the most naturally aged new knives I have seen in a while!
Very nice, Jeff!

I love your #55 Houndstooth photos, Jeff! I really wish GEC would do another run of these with the single Wharncliffe blade, but this time with Smooth Ivory Bone covers for the Tidioute model, and African Blackwood covers for the Northfield version. I would absolutely scoop up a few of them if they did a run of Northfield #55s in African Blackwood!!!
Thanks Burnside, I really appreciate it. I would also love to see a second run but would tweak one of your requests.....I would like the African blackwood to be a Combo of sorts with the tooth shield of the Tidioute and the Northfield swedge. Keep the nail nick and I would have to get one or two of those.
British clasp knife today-

-the open one, the closed knife is a work in progress.
Yes, tons of character. Nice-looking knife![]()
This White Owl is riding almost unnoticeable in my pocket today.

Thanks Kev, hope all is goin well for ya my friend.
I cant help showin it off, I really like this one. Here are two more pics, the first shows the blade better and the second shows of the bone really well. The action is just perfect, firm with a very solid snap into place.
Changing my carry for the day now. Need to head out to pick n pull, dont want to loose my knife so I think orange is very appropriate

Is that British or Belgian? The WIP looks very interesting
Your comments appreciated, thanks.
Belgian; the lower knife is unmarked. I guess I used the "British" nomenclature in the generic
I don't know much about these knives except there are British army knives similar to them, what would be a quick history of the type? I have one stamped with a broad arrow, so I know that one is English, but it is a cruder example than these two, to be direct.
