What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

As usual, two Canoes of the Week (one of which is one of my top ten canoes and one of which isn't) for me. My Top Ten canoe this week is a stag Mohawk canoe, made in Germany for AG Russell (probably my very favorite canoe).

My not-top-ten canoe, according to my rotation schedule, should be a Rough Rider Armor Hide canoe. But I noticed that NEXT week, the schedule assigns me a RR Christmas canoe, which seems a much better choice for THIS week. So I'm switching them! Who says I'm a slave to routine?? 😁

Boy was it cold down on the reservoir,I went to 2 hides looking to snap some birds (but found mostly squirrels).

Yes I shoot JPEG get over it. 😁

I wish I had put on more layers and bought more hot water for tea/coffee though.

The EKA and SAK are a great outdoorsy type combo.

Love this little tea bag tin,its perfect for a day out I had teabags, coffee sachets and sugar but not enough water (lesson learnt again).

Crossing back over the resevoir it was like "Force 10 from Navarone".

I came across this mini racing sailboat club.

It seemed very dangerous to me the wobbling ponton from which they launched the boats flexed in all directions.

They had life vests on but nothing to pull them out the water,I reckon the shock would have got them first.

I lasted watching for 5 minutes then got back in my warm car... 😇

Rosecraft "mosquito lake" moose. As a man whose become a fan of the moose pattern, I think this may be the best easily available moose pattern knife out there. I wish it were in 1095 steel, but D2 used to be a favorite of mine when I was carrying those things with clips, flippers, and thumbstuds. I've carried this thing a quite a bit and I really like it.
