Well dang, I forget to check in on this thread for a month or so and I completely miss the 15,000 page/300,000 post milestone. 🙄🤣

Schatt Heritage jack and an older Winchester sleeveboard pen knife.
Happy New Year to everyone here! :)

Old and familiar for stepping into the new and unknown.🫣

Those two look good together, Jeff.

Hard to beat summer sausage, cheese and crackers for a snack! 😋

Really interesting looking pattern, José. Don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything quite like that before.

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Richards pipe knife I found at a flea market in Hessel, MI during our August vacation in 2015. First photo is what it looked like when I bought it, second is after I tried cleaning it up with whatever stuff I had on hand 300 miles from home.

I’d say you did a pretty good job, GT. I’ve got a very similar pipe knife that was a gift from Jack Black Jack Black

Totin' #111 today. One could almost be forgiven for mistaking her for a syrup-drenched waffle. 🧇

That’s a pretty good number to get. Good looking breakfast pic, too! 🍳

Had these two with me today. Albers Lambsfoot in Ringed Gidgee and a Nifebrite #71 that was a gift from Angry Waiter Angry Waiter

Good to see the range is not all brown Bart. Max looks like he makes a nice size lamb.
Yes, we’ve been getting enough rain mixed with sun that the green feed is already coming on. It’s supposed to be in the 60’s this week, so that will keep it coming.

I agree on the size of the lamb. It’s a perfect size for my preference, just a bit over 3.5 inches.

waynorth waynorth was kind enough to send me this old W.D.Herbert last summer. I finally had a chance over the holiday break to give old "Paul Toynbee" a spa treatment here at r8shell's HFOaWOK*. (Home For Old and Worn Out Knives) All he needed was some oil for his stiff joints and a sharpening.

Thanks, Charlie!
He's already made himself useful this morning, cutting string and poking holes in stuff. ;) 👍
Nice to see old Paul getting to be used!! (His name is hard to see, carved into the handle as I recall) BTW, I created those random glass beads learning the lampwork method!! Thanks for showing them off, Rachel!!

Beautiful Catt and pic 🐈👍🤠
Thank you kindly, David. :)

Great pic, Greg!
Thanks, Barrett.

Keeping the old Catt in the pocket again today. When I saw this one for sale at the Badger Blade Show I couldn't resist buying it. The sleeveboard pattern, great looking bone and shield got to me. Prior to that I had only seen pics of Mr Primble's fine example of this knife and always drooled over it. Thanks for the inspiration, Mr P. 👍:)
