In my world if a day ends in a y, it's considered a holiday.( and I'm glad to be around to celebrate.

One thing I noticed when I retired in 2001 was that there were no more weekends , days off , vacations , and or Holidays . Just days when I could basically do what I , or my wife , want ( s ) to do .

We got about 8” last night, and it’s snowing again. This weather calls for a sturdy knife; this ‘81 Sodbuster did fine. Most likely I’ll carry it again tomorrow.

We got around seven inches of snow, a half inch of sleet, and and a half inch of freezing rain ........... so I'm all snowed in it looks like. My Cherry tree out front is sagging down and blocking my driveway. My satellite dish is all iced up and out of a signal, so I missed the Lions vs. Vikings game last night and was disappointed. On the bright side, I made a big pot of chili and the power remains on, so it could be worse. I've been totin my large Case stockman all weekend and added my Robertson WT for today.







No TV last night so I sharpened about a dozen knives.
