I’m carrying this Angus Jack today. Most likely I’ll be pushing snow tomorrow. The Weather Channel is calling for 1”to 3”; the local channel as usual 🙄 is calling for a cataclysm of epic proportions. I’m hoping for the best.🤞

Well dadgummit. Just getting ready to go down to Gatlinburg to a pancake house, when the sleety rain started. We could get down, but the kids are worried about getting back up the mountain. Chicken yella bellies.

Oh well, this is why we hit the grocery yesterday and loaded up.

I fired up the map thing on my phone yesterday, and took a drive. Was really tempted by "Live Alligators", but stuck to my plan of visiting the big knife store.
The place was mobbed. And sadly, saw nothing I needed to buy at full retail.

Too bad about the weather. Hopefully it'll clear up for y'all. The last time I was in the Big Knife Store I bought some mini screwdrivers for the SAK corkscrew and a spatula 😆
 
We got sleet/freezing rain for several hours last night. I was surprised there wasn't more ice when I got up this morning. Took this out the side door a few minutes ago. It doesn't show up in the pic, but there is a fine sleet coming down pretty hard and I can see a thin layer of ice under the sleet and on the trees. The county salt truck/snow plow went up the road a few hours ago, and it just went down the hill as I type this. It's the only vehicle I've seen on the county road today. The news has been reporting power outages all around, but so far mine has been ok 🤞
