For the first time in 43-years, our home is empty. This past week, "Utah" the doxie has not felt well. Late yesterday we took her to our Vet and she said there was no coming back for "Utah" so Cindy and I made the difficult decision to put her down. She has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Hopefully, we can find an older rescue dog. Cindy is beside herself. Neither of us got much sleep last night - our bedmate was absent. No knife pictured this morning but I'm carrying the Case Jack I carried yesterday. Don't feel like breakfast. We'll most likely go to the Wagon Wheel Cafe later for something to eat.

My condolences, Ed. That is losing a family member.

I am so sorry, Ed. It's always too soon for them to go. I hope you and Cindy grieve well. And I hope you find exactly the right rescue. Dogs are the best, and it's so hard when they leave.

Such a classic!

That’s a great old workhorse!

Nice Craftsman. I love the brass bolsters.
Made by Imperial?
Very similar to my Imperial Frontier 4435 Double Eagle. (for all intents and purposes a "dressy" 8OT with stainless blades, brass bolsters, and wood covers ... and through pin construction.) I really should carry it more.

Tho the Spey Blade on yours may be different. (Is yours a Spey Blade or a Pen blade?)
Thanks guys. I’ve been appreciatin the more stout workman’s knives lately. It certainly looks like a rebranded 4435 minus the match strike nail nick. It’s a spey blade. I would love to have a stockman this size with a pen blade.
