Pal Cutlery cattle knife today. Solid knife but for only having two springs its a bit chunky. No problem as I'm wearing carpenter style pants today with a handy utility pocket on the side.

For the first time in 43-years, our home is empty. This past week, "Utah" the doxie has not felt well. Late yesterday we took her to our Vet and she said there was no coming back for "Utah" so Cindy and I made the difficult decision to put her down. She has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Hopefully, we can find an older rescue dog. Cindy is beside herself. Neither of us got much sleep last night - our bedmate was absent. No knife pictured this morning but I'm carrying the Case Jack I carried yesterday. Don't feel like breakfast. We'll most likely go to the Wagon Wheel Cafe later for something to eat.

We got 6-7" of snow overnight which for NW Arkansas is a real snow. Most people stayed home but I went to work and it was by far the less stressful drive in I've had in awhile. Nobody weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating or acting like it was the Indy 500.
