For the first time in 43-years, our home is empty. This past week, "Utah" the doxie has not felt well. Late yesterday we took her to our Vet and she said there was no coming back for "Utah" so Cindy and I made the difficult decision to put her down. She has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Hopefully, we can find an older rescue dog. Cindy is beside herself. Neither of us got much sleep last night - our bedmate was absent. No knife pictured this morning but I'm carrying the Case Jack I carried yesterday. Don't feel like breakfast. We'll most likely go to the Wagon Wheel Cafe later for something to eat.

Another day in paradise! Almost, we got a reminder yesterday from the San Andreas Fault that a quake measuring 3.6. happened just off the coast of SF. According to the USGS very near the coordinates of the 7.9 quake that occurred in 1906. Anyway today with a nod to Stag Saturday a nice lamb and a Case Canoe. Have a great weekend folks! It's been 3 months. The honeymoon's over.

Large Stockman and a Back Pocket XX from 2011. I hand rubbed a satin finish on all of the metal parts of these two stainless knives.
Had four more inches of snow to shovel again this morning .......... snowed every day for the past seven days.

Handsome pair of Case knives. The satin finish looks great, I think a game changer compared to the shiny Case stainless. Good looking bone on both too.
