Changed from blue Lees to black Levis with a red plaid Bass shirt for Sunday services, so it's Red Trad Knifeday. Red Cellidor, old Case Redbone with early '70s Redbone.

Go on and have a fine day, eh?

Quiet in the house. There's a three legged dog in the Humane Society slammer in Reno, Nevada - "Shadow" - 179 miles from us. Not sure how he'd handle steps and how he'd navigate the doggie door. Anyway, we're looking. Hash for breakfast. A Buck 055 for carry today.

My sister and bro-in-law own a hundred acres of old church camp in the national forest halfway up Michigan. Local methheads broke in and stole everything. Including the Gransfors Bruk axe.

Whenever you post that pic of your LF, the perspective first makes my eye think it's off level. But it's not.
That one with the squared off blade is super cool! Looks like a castrator to me. Do you know much about it? Can you tell what the etch says?
Well you would know a castrator blade.
A Buck 112 for 1/12. Now, if I just had 25 of them.........

You might be surprised. Dogs can adapt and overcome.

I wonder if Shadow has been passed over?
What breed is he?

Unfortunately, that sounds about right. Thankful, the methheads did not start removing the wiring.... On second thought, wire removal might have resolved the problem. Might have been a sign from above.

Yes, he's been passed over a few times. They say he doesn't like his shoulder touched - left front leg amputated. Well hell!!! If I had ay left arm amputated, I wouldn't want some Yahoo touching my shoulder either. He's Australian Shepherd and ?????? Still have to give it a lot of thought.

Ed, Shadow looks like a great dog! You can’t beat a Lab/Shepherd mix. Sounds like he’d be great watch dog. Dogs are very resilient and resourceful and at two his disability doesn’t look like it will slow him down. 👍

Reminding me of summer times in deep winter. Then she's out most of the day and returns for sleeping...treats the place like a flop-house :D She often brings her 'uncle' presents, thankfully not indoors though....rats, snakes, even a bat (how???) and once a stoat ! Not very interested in birds fortunately :) Not really sure if she brought me the Black Box or did an unseen hand ;)
