What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Panama white linen micarta is one of my favorite handle materials. This half moon trapper from CSC just arrived today. I was meant to own this one as I somehow ended up with the english barlow and half moon trapper numbered 09. It was completely unintentional and both listings did not list number

I think I need the pinch lockback in white linen to finish the set....wonder if I can score #09 again.

I carried the barlow today in anticipation of the half moon arriving along with my trusty Case Select Peanut.

Fine selection and outstanding material.

Perhaps you should get this year's Forum knife as well?

Today, GEC 85 EZ Open liner lock in Ivory Bone, sort of similar colour to the above.

Thanks, Will

This came in the mail yesterday. One of the online retailers had it on clearance, so I bought a couple - one for me and one to give to a friend.

440C blade steel, brass liners, nickle bolsters, solid lockup with no play in any direction, decent fit and finish... not too bad for less than a ten spot.

^ Very nice sir

My battered old Taylor's clasp knife has been hard at work helping me work on an even older and more battered Nowill clasp knife. Got the Taylor's in one pocket, my Sheepsfoot Charlow in another pocket, and my Boker Stockman in a belt pouch! :)

that's my vote for picture of the day.

Thanks, I appreciate your kind words a lot!

Thank you! Looks like you won't be without a knife today, hehe.

Great pic Jerren, and fabulous knife. I have one on the way that I was lucky enough to snag in the exchange.
