What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Finally got around to doing a group picture of my BF collection , it’s certainly taken me a lot of years. I got there in in the end , once again a massive thank you to everyone who helped me along the way , who would have thought that first BF knife , all those years ago , would start a journey I never truly expected to finish . I believe this is the complete set …. IMG_3950.jpeg

Nice work and thanks for bringing it up! You guys were spot on with the regrind theory. Herder sent me a Wolstenholm catalog for comparison. Although their close, you can plainly see the differences between the two knives.

The swedge, grind, & blade geometry are different. And the kick also appears altered to normalize the blade tip.

H herder was a solid choice for old knife information. The first time I met Neal, he'd brought his book on the history of Boker ~ most impressive.
Looking forward to seeing him again next month at the Badger Blade Show.

A few lingering showers today here in the City by the Bay! Good news is no rain in the forecast for next week🤞. Taking it easy today with nothing noteworthy on the agenda. Keeping me company the two Charlie’s. Have a great weekend folks! 😀IMG_1618.jpegIMG_1617.jpeg
