. After my lower jaw replacement and reconstructive surgery to make a new jaw, I only have eight teeth left to gum/chew with yet, my dentist charges me for a thirty-two tooth cleaning. I haven't had a plate/bridge made to replace some of the missing teeth because although all the new parts fit, they shift just the tiniest bit throwing the fit off.
