No. See here's my free advice, which of course is worth exactly what you're paying for it ~
While I like the way other guy's dye jobs have turned out, they lose the most attractive part. The polished white bone where they tapered it down to mate up with the bolsters is the best looking part of it all. It sets off the dye in the middle.
More free advice, and from a guy who doesn’t even own the knife but has been admiring them from many posted photos: I agree on the keeping natural bone! The dyeing has become a frenzy.

That purple is dreamy!
I hear Steak 'N Shake is going back to frying their fries in beef tallow.TGIF!

I've been barbering my ownself since the mid '90s. Get a good electric kit and have at it til it looks good. The secret is knowing when to stop.Going to town in a little bit to play some pool and then poker this evening. Breezy and gusty. Up to 30 mph according to my phone (All hail the mighty phone) Sunny and almost 60F, so not bad, but not a good hair today
Due to my continued coughing, I haven't had a haircut since October, except when I took scissors to my bangs. I'm thinking of taking my beard trimmer to the rest of itHaven't worked up the nerve yet
