What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you my friend. I said that I was warming up to it now .................. but I'll keep that in mind. 🐸
It is a lot better looking than it has ever been and I have had it for about 15 years I reckon.
If you had mentioned that before I dyed it dark, you would probably already have it. 🤣

I have one, but, keep in mind that when it was truly the ugly duckling, I took some pictures and it was uglier in pictures than it truly was. Then I would toss the pictures.

I have never seen it as it came from the factory because I got it in a trade with a friend and he had dyed it in a coffee and then tea. Later I tried potassium permanganate and it didn't improve it much. The mark side was the ugliest.

I am pretty pleased with the Fiebings Dark Brown Low Voc dye applied with heat. I did the mark side three times and the pile side once ..... and stopped because I finally liked it. This is the only before pic that I have of the pile side ...................... before the dye and after all the other attempts mentioned above. 😊

Lol ............ that's a fine sad emoji ! 🤣
I was hoping you forgot that you were “warming up to it!” 😂🤣 Excellent dye job!

All jokes aside, it is a very nice looking Case. Carry that beauty my friend, it deserves it.

I'm keeping it simple & carrying a Schrade 80T today.

Thanks again Old Hunter Old Hunter !

P.S. I hope you don't mind Bruce, but I had some extra time on my late night weekend work... So I pulled out some files out of the old tool box & added a swedge to the main blade 😬😉
Zach, your swedge looks real nice. As to do I mind, that is your knife, you do whatever suits you! OH

Neck Knife:
Toferner medieval style (non-folding) Celtic/Norse/"Viking" pocket knife in modified OEM sheath.
(note: In the medieval period, pants pockets were not yet invented ... not to mention the Celts and at least some "Vikings" wore kilts; (also had no pockets) not pants. My guess is they carried such a knife in a Sporran, belt pouch, or shoulder bag, or hung from their neck on a cord.)

Please have a wonderful week. 😇👍
