What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

If I had realised it was the Easter weekend I suppose I’d be carrying both my 93s but as usual my mind was elsewhere yesterday and this morning. Maybe I’ll switch it up for this afternoon..

#35 JOTS.. Still gives me heavy Americana nostalgia VIBES, even though I’m a good few decades late and born on another continent! 🤣

I wonder if we'll get chocolate bunnies this year ... or any chocolate for that matter ...

Considering the current cost of clucker seeds I doubt we'll get hard boiled clucker seeds ... at "best" they'll be scrambled and over-cooked till scorched and desert dry.
(Only 2 of the staffettes know how to cook eggs without scrambling and/or baking them. A few use 1 egg per resident (10 of us) then add moo juice to make enough so everyone can have more than a taste, and to make them "fluffy". Yes. I have pointed out to them (more than once) that adding milk (with or without sugar and vanilla) to eggs is custard, and, that custard is almost as fluffy as a brick.)

🤣, I only laugh at that last part… But I don’t pretend to know about world economic/political affairs, just enough to still feel sufficiently sceptical, cynical and damn right pessimistic.
Safe to say though that there’s something alarmingly wrong when a fella can’t get a decent egg in a morning let alone more than one?

So I stuck with the 35 JOTS for the day but added the New Day Barlow into the tote’s also… apologies to rub salt into the wound afishhunter afishhunter with that classic blade etch 🙄

My better half is getting the Easter Baskets ready for the Grand Kiddos. I'm generally getting in the way, so I snapped this pic when I could.
Put this little Ohta in my pocket for Stagurday. I guess it's Holy Stagurday for those of us that share that belief.

It ended up ok. I shipped it to Japan and Mr. Ohta repaired it, and sent it back no charge. The knife was at least a decade old. It left the US and I had it back, as good as new in under 2 weeks.
