Recently acquired Moore Maker whittler and my cherished HJ-10 harness jack as I prepare to fire up the charcoal for burgers with wifey and granddaughter. The brutal heat has left us for now and even though it is overcast and looking like possibly more rain this evening it feels great here on the patio.

Grabbed a Lionsteel Shuffler today. I really like this knife. I enjoy the bone Micarta covers far more than I should.

Great action, quality stainless steel, nice Micarta covers, light as a feather. It even feels good in the hand. Heck of a knife.

What year is that MM? The Queen made Moore Maker knives are nice.

Tang stamp is 1999. I hadn't done any research on it yet but suspected it might be Queen made from the jigging pattern, bone color and nice fit & finishing. Would 1999 stamp indicate Queen made?

If memory serves, in 1999 Moore Maker carried both premium and less premium knives. The lower end Moore Maker knives were made by Camillus. I agree that the bone on that looks like it came from Queen.

Meanwhile, new knife day. A Boker Anchor Sailor's knife. Ebony and stainless steel. And excellent fit and finish.
