Gonna be an adventure this afternoon when we take "Abby" - the Hoarder to the vet to get her nails clipped and a checkup. The vet will have to put a muzzle on her as she doesn't abide anyone and I mean anyone grabbing and squeezing her paws. We still haven't found the toothpaste tube out in our "Field of Hidey Holes". This Ebony Sowbelly for carry today. Sausage and eggs-up for breakfast.

The fog is thick today in the City by the Bay! It’s the second of three days of the Dead playing in GG Park. Single tickets start at $245 I think I paid around $10 for my first Dead concert so I’m skipping these. Traffic around the Park is a nightmare!, So I’ll stay home and hangout with some Elk beauties! Thanks, Gary. No, it still resides with all of my knives, and I carry it on her birthday and other special occasions. She hasn’t shown too much interest in knives, other than learning to use them in the kitchen a bit. The pull on the #71 is probably a bit strong for a kid’s first knife anyways, but it’ll definitely go to her eventually.

Just start another drawer.
No need to worry about thinning the herd cuz yer still young.

Are glasses a recent addition to Elanor's look? If so, did she adjust to them easily?

Thanks, GT! The glasses are not prescription, just blue light blocking. We got them for the kids to use for screen time, but Eleanor has taken to wearing them most of time. (She used to get occasional headaches, and the glasses have seemed to help with that, though I think to some extent it might just be a placebo effect.)

Recently acquired Moore Maker whittler and my cherished HJ-10 harness jack as I prepare to fire up the charcoal for burgers with wifey and granddaughter. The brutal heat has left us for now and even though it is overcast and looking like possibly more rain this evening it feels great here on the patio.

A couple good looking knives there, Greg. I like that koozie, too (another thing I tend to accumulate, though not quite to the same extent as knives).

We’re spending the weekend up in Duluth, MN with some friends. I had these two with me this morning, might switch it up for the afternoon/evening (I did bring a few knives, because it’s always good to have options).
