Gonna be an adventure this afternoon when we take "Abby" - the Hoarder to the vet to get her nails clipped and a checkup. The vet will have to put a muzzle on her as she doesn't abide anyone and I mean anyone grabbing and squeezing her paws. We still haven't found the toothpaste tube out in our "Field of Hidey Holes". This Ebony Sowbelly for carry today. Sausage and eggs-up for breakfast.

I hope everything came out well for Abby at the vet. Please tell her hi from Lacey and Whiskey.

C'mon man. It's a fine day for a road trip with your bride.
Having a three hour drive to get home gives you a legitimate excuse to leave early.
After the Hokey Pokey, but before Mustang Sally should be about right.

Your priorities trouble me. I'm down with listening and dancing to Mustang Sally, but wanna duck out when The Hokey Pokey comes on.

The fog is thick today in the City by the Bay! It’s the second of three days of the Dead playing in GG Park. Single tickets start at $245 I think I paid around $10 for my first Dead concert so I’m skipping these. Traffic around the Park is a nightmare!, So I’ll stay home and hangout with some Elk beauties! Have a great weekend folks! 😀

The after shows looked better. Glad Bobby and Mickey are still here. Billy too.

I recently finished an update to my weekly rotation schedule that incorporates all the knives I've picked up since the last time I revised the schedule in March 2024. I started using that old rotation schedule on March 17, 2024 (which would have been my parents' 73rd wedding anniversary if my Mom were still alive), and I'll start using the new schedule today, August 3, 2025 (one day before my Dad's 95th birthday).

My new schedule uses the same 11 categories of knives as the old schedule used; I carry one knife from each category each week, except I always carry 2 "canoes of the week". In most categories, I've designated a list of "Top Ten (or maybe 12 )" knives, and in each category I carry a Top Ten knife every other week. So after 20 weeks, I'll have carried each of my Top Ten knives for a week, and will start repeating the Top Ten, while I keep working through the list of not-Top-Ten with no repeats. So I get to carry my favorite knives more often than my not-so-favorite, but EVERY knife still gets a chance to be carried at least once over the duration of the schedule (which covers at least 80 weeks in each category), and that's the main purpose of the schedule! Without further ado...

Canoes of the Week are a Case canoe from 1975 (a Top Ten canoe for me) and a Fightin' Rooster 4-blade gunboat:
