What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm leaning to Abby having learned to open the refrigerator door - just another adventure at Modoc ED's house. Thank the Lord the refrigerator is too big to fit through the doggy door and find it's way to a hidey hole out in the yard. It's one of those smart appliances. Leave the door opened longer than one minute and it turns on a red light in the control panel and then beeps for 30-minutes.

That explains it. Thanks Ed! I've thus far managed to avoid smart appliances. I'm definitely betting on Abby.

Enjoying a quiet Labor Day.

Just a plain ole CV Sod Buster Jr. in a pocket today. Before I go, last night after dinner (supper in some parts of the country) Cindy secured the kitchen making sure everything was closed up tight. Along about 8 PM, we heard a beeping alarm coming from the kitchen. Cindy went to investigate and found "Abby" the Hoarder sitting in front of the open door of the refrigerator. Hmmmmm? Time to go to bed and Cindy checked the house and locked/closed everything up neat and tight. Along about 2:30 AM we were awakened by a beeping alarm coming from the kitchen. Cindy went to investigate and found "Abby" the Hoarder sitting in front of the open door of the refrigerator. Coincidence or did the beeping alarm draw "Abby" the Hoarder to the refrigerator OR has "Abby" the Hoarder figured out how to open the refrigerator door? Time will tell.

I really enjoy hearing about Abby! The family enjoys hearing of her adventures. I was picturing beams of light emitting from the fridge to surround Abby accompanied by "this is the treasure you've been seeking" type music playing.
