There are some days where a certain knife inextricably feels “right”. Maybe it’s the patina on the blades, or possibly the wood covers. Perhaps it’s the hefty weight added by the longer bolsters and steel liners. Maybe today is just the day for long pulls, swedges and gracefully sweeping clips. But today is definitely an ironwood Barlow day.

I's use a salt water rig and a steel leader. Should be fun ~ post pics.Saw some nice bass in a pond on golf course. Should trade a pole for a club. I don't think they appreciate the gator that I know lives there too.

I did not know Watchman made an anchor pattern. One of my favorite early pickups was a zulu knife from them, it's really nice. It had particularly good action.Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a Colt stag muskrat that I rate as a Top Ten knife in this category:
